Jonathan Hecke
Project Coordinator, ApaSan Project Moldova
Jonathan Hecke has over twenty years of professional experience as a project manager and as a consultant in the fields of solid waste management, water supply, sanitation and wastewater treatment in a variety of institutional settings in Europe and in low- and middle-income countries.
His expertise includes the planning, engineering design, implementation, and management of water supply systems, on-site sanitation schemes, municipal and industrial wastewater treatment plants and municipal, hazardous and health care waste management solutions. He also conducts environment-related assessment, monitoring, and evaluation studies, provides support to local capacity building and institutional development processes, and has been involved in the management of emergency aid and reconstruction programmes.

Aurelia Ciornei
Institutional and Capacity Development Specialist/ Deputy Project Coordinator
She has extensive experience in working for international organizations as Program Specialist and Program Component Coordinator, mainly within USAID and UN Programs. Her professional background is in democracy and governance (community strategic planning and development, citizen participation in democratic governance processes, etc.) and in capacity building and advocacy (CB interventions for (central) government officials, facilitation and monitoring of processes with government and civil society participation, media relations and communication, advocacy activities). Her international experience includes providing consultancy on strategic planning process for local governments in Montenegro and co-training in Strategic Planning ToT for Montenegrin national facilitators. Skilled in facilitation, translation and interpretation.

Nelli Cuturubenco
Water and Sanitation Specialist
Has a professional background is in civil and water engineering with more than fourteen years of working experience with International Consultants, Development Agencies and Contractors as well as local state and private enterprises. She has been engaged in ApaSan as a water and sanitation specialist since 2010, and has been involved in development and implementation of decentralized rural water supply and sanitation services delivery project.Her strengths are: Project development, Project implementation, Facilitation of the project partners, Capacity building,Monitoring and evaluation.

Water and Sanitation Specialist
Was employed by ApaSan after a three months internship within the project during which he recommended himself as a young and promising specialist in the field of Water supply and Sustainable Sanitation. Besides his educational background in Water Supply and Waste Water Treatment, he has good professional experience in designing and implementing water networks in rural areas gained by working for over a year in “Acvaproiect” state design institute.

Tudor Bostan
Water and Sanitation Specialist
Specialized in equipment related to the water supply and sanitation field, has an experience of almost 5 years working as an engineer in a private engineering company, during of which he had the opportunity to be involved for engineering consultancy in the selection and elaboration of technical specifications, also in several feasibility studies and one energy audit in the field of water supply and sewerage systems.

Razvant Mihail
Project Engineer
His professional background is in civil engineering with more than eight years of experience in monitoring and on-site supervision of the water supply and sanitation projects. He has also six- year experience of teaching in the vocational school.

Corina Andronic
Mobilization and Communication Specialist
She has a professional background in community development with six years experience in academic and non-governmental sector. She led the Social Component of the JOBs PLUS Program, implemented by Catholic Relief Services in Moldova, managing capacity building and community poverty reduction activities. Being part of the Citizen Participation Program Team, she worked on community and concept project evaluation, compliance with the USAID standards, community mobilization and community stakeholder’s mobilization, reporting and monitoring.

Iacovlev Mariana
Finance and Administration Manager
She has nineteen-year experience in Accounting, Economy and Financial Management, has an international qualification CAP “Certified Accounting Practitioner”.

Project Assistant
15 years of driving experience (8 years from them working in diplomatic missions as an English speaking Driver-Assistant).
